Networked Department Start order (Waiting for Ergosoft communication)

Problem/Question
The following messages may appear when starting a Network Department Client.


If this message does not disappear in seconds/minutes, the Client can't connect to the Master.
(A permanent network connection between all Networked Departments PCs is strictly required.)

Solution/Work-Around
Here are some hints to analyze and resolve.

  • Make sure the Ergosoft Control Center is running on the Networked Department Master.
    Note: the Ergosoft ControlCenter on the master should always be started before the client workstations.
  • Check whether the Ergosoft Communication Utility is running in the Windows tray.
    Note: if the Ergosoft Communication Utility icon is displayed in red with an exclamation mark , there is no communication with the Network Department Master.
  • Check whether the Ergosoft Communication Utility has been started on the Master. 
  • Check whether there is a proper network connection between the Master and Client workstations.
