Does every user need to create a login to activate the license?

Whether one intends to activate a permanent or an evaluation license, starting the activation the
Activation Portal website prompts to login. At this stage several questions may pop up like e. g.
“Does a user need to create an own login or can I use the re-seller account?"
Solution/Work-Around
Some facts and hints about the License Activation Portal
Technically it does not matter which portal-user activates the ticket. The license is not linked to specific user. We strongly recommend to register and use a customer specific login. This way
- the user can benefit from the User Portal (Downloads, Documentation Portal, Helpcenter, Product Newsletter, ...)
- all license and dongles are linked to the customer for a better overview and faster support
Note
If you already signed up for the
Documentation Portal, you can use the same credentials logging into the User Portal and License Activation Portal.
