How to activate the license

Problem/Question
You received a license key from Ergosoft by e-mail? You're only a few steps from running Ergosoft 16 away.

Solution/Work-Around
Preparation
  1. Plug the dongle into a USB port directly on the pc.
  2. Ensure the internet connection is stable.
  3. Set an actual web browser like e. g. Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome as default browser.
  4. Download and install Ergosoft 16.
  5. Update dongle firmware via CodeMeter Control Center.
Online activation (RIP PC with Internet access)
  1. Sign in to http://license.ergosoft.net/ with your Ergosoft User Portal credentials - use your default web browser!

  2. Press the Tickets URL on the e-mail, verify the license items
  3. Check if the dropdown shows the correct container and click <Acitvate Selected License Now>
  4. Wait patiently until the license is completely transferred and press <Ok>
Note: Install Ergosoft RIP before activating the license.
(CodeMeter Runtime which comes with Ergosoft installer needs to be installed to recognize the dongle hardware.)
