Create Job Package

Create Job Package

Problem/Question

In addition to archiving a job from a Queues, e.g. to be able to edit it again with all settings, Print and Cut Environments including the file used in the JobComposer, Ergosoft also offers the option of creating a so-called Job Package directly from the JobComposer.

This is also very helpful, for example, when exchanging data between two or more Ergosoft RIP systems.

"How can a Job package be created?"

Solution/Work-Around

Once you have made all the necessary settings and selected the Print (and Cut) Environment, proceed as follows:

  1. In the JobComposer, select "  Package Job" under "File" in the menu bar
  2. Activate/deactivate the relevant files in the Job Package window
  3. Select whether the Job Package should be compressed or not
  4. Click <Ok>.
  5. Select the storage location for the Job Package

To use the Job Package on another Ergosoft RIP, for example, you only need to open the "EsRip" job in the package.

The Print and Cut Environment must be imported via the respective Environment manager.

These and the files can be found in the "Links" folder in the package.

In the Job Package you will also find a job ticket that can be used for visual control
