Wibu Version Compatibility Patch

Problem/Question
Jumping back to an older version of Ergosoft, the error "Attention: License count exceeded!" will appear.
Trying to open JobComposer you will find this message:

After closing this message, a new warning will show:
COM Error 0x80080005: Server execution failed in MainFrm.cpp

Explanation
Since 16.6 there is a backward compatibility problem between Ergosoft RIP and the Wibu component. The newly installed Wibu software (3rd party driver managing the licenses) will not be compatible with older builds.

Solution/Work-Around
It is still possible to revert to an older build and circumvent this issues by applying a patch.
  1. Access Ergosoft User Portal
  2. Download > Ergosoft16 Extensions > Wibu_CodeMeter > [Choose the adequate file] (A)
  3. Install the patch and restart your PC

If version 15 is used and installed in the same computer, v15.0 Wibu Version Compatibility Patch must be applied.
If you have switched back from 16.6 to any older build, 16.0 Wibu Version Compatibility Patch must be applied.

Note
The effects of the patch are permanent and have to be applied only once.
