Solution/Work-Around
As Epson USB does not have its own interface between the Ergosoft RIP and
printer, a Windows Printer Port must be used in order to connect the
computer to the printer via USB.
- Simply set up the Epson USB printer under Windows just as you would
install any other printer (In System Settings/Printers and Devices).
- Open the Print Environment settigns
- At “Output Device” click <New>

- Then <Add Port>
- Select “Windows Printer”
- Select the Epson
USB printer you just installed
- Confirm the dialog to add it as a Port to the Print Environment
