Slowly appearing context menu
Problem/Question
Working with the context menu (right mouse click) in the Job Queue you may have observed the menu opening very slowly. Especially when one has to use the menu several times (e. g. to suspend a couple of jobs) this can be annoying.
Solution/Work-Around
The cause is related to a visual effect of Windows - correspondingly the solution is to find in the operating system settings.
- Open Windows System Settings
- Navigate to System > About and open Advanced system settings
- Open Advanced tab and click on Settings in the Performance section
- Deactivate Fade or slide menus into view and click Apply
