Restore Barbieri Spectro LFP
Problem/Question
"LFP is an OEM device and can´t be controlled"
The
Barbieri Spectro LFP is not recognized in Ergosoft and the Barbieri
Gateway displays an error message stating that the Barbieri Spectro
LFP is an OEM device and can´t be controlled.
Solution/Work-Around
The device itself has lost the saved parameters and must be restored using the procedure described below.
- Serial of the device (located on the Barbieri Spectro LFP itself, e.g. B311974).
- Service Report of the device (to create it please follow these instructions)
- Open Barbieri Gateway Software (available for free download from the Barbieri Service Support Page)
- Select "Tools"
- Click on "Get Service Report"
- Save the created file
After
having sent the information described above, the Barbieri Support will
send you a generated txt file with the respective parameters and an
associated procedure to restore the device.
After this procedure should the Spectro LFP work as usual.
