Printing width or size limited / Full width printing not available

Printing width or size limited / Full width printing not available

Problem/Question
When opening a new Job, the printing width appears to be limited to a smaller width than the printer is actually capable of (e.g. a printer is 250cm wide, but the Job in the JobComposer is only 120cm wide and cannot be changed to be wider).

Solution/Work-Around
  1. Check the Print Environment Settings, at "Media Size"
Make sure the value set there matches the size of the media loaded in the Printer. If the maximum media size should be used, it is recommended to select the “++Maximum++” size.
  2. Check the set margins and if there are minimum margins for this specific printer in the “Margins” section of the “Media Size” dialog.
  3. Check if a Preset is active. Presets can also limit the possible printing width/media size.
  4. Check if Contour Cutting is active. Contour Cut automatically limits the possible Job size.
