How to print a multi-page PDF as individual jobs

How to print a multi-page PDF as individual jobs

Problem/Question

There might be reasons you want to have each page of PDF as a separate job in the Print Queue.
(E.g. you want to separate each printed page by auto sheet cut.)

Solution/Work-Around

The Ergosoft print dialog provides a feature called "Print Pages as Separate Jobs".

  1. Download and install the latest build (Ergosoft 2025 or newer).
  2. Start the JobComposer.
  3. Create an Image Preset that causes each PDF page to be placed on a separate JobComposer page.
(Tiling > activate Put each tile on a separate page)
  4. Select the Image Preset.
  5. Import all pages of your multi-page PDF.
  6. Activate Print Pages as Separate Jobs when sending the job.
Pages are now sent to the PrintQueue as individual jobs.
(If auto-cut has been activated in the PrintEnvironment, each page will be cut separately.)
