Mimaki UV printer Layer mode error

Problem/Question
After change the layer mode at Mimaki UV printer models get following error message:
“Layer mode is not compatible with the print mode (resolution) ..."

This error message indicates that the printer data (print modes) has not yet been sent to the RIP.
Note: Some print modes are not available for a selected setup. Please change the print mode.

Solution/Work-Around
To change the layer mode you are currently in the Print Environment in the "Device Options" field. Execute the following steps from there:
  1. In the "Device Options" field, click the <Retrieve print modes from printer> button.
  2. Follow the further instructions
