How to save a Hotfolder Setting
Problem/Question
After a complete
hotfolder configuration, this should be saved as a backup.
"How can a hotfolder setting be
backed up?"
Solution/Work-Around
To save hotfolder
settings, proceed as follows:
- Call up the HotFolder tool from
the Ergosoft ControlCenter
- Select "Export Hotfolder
as XML" * in the HotFolder menu under "HotFolder".
- Save the file to a central
location
* Notes:
If you use several hotfolders, you can also back them
up directly using the "Export all hotfolders as XML" command.
In the case of a new installation, for example, you
can add the backup to the HotFolder Tool again via "Import new via
XML". It is important that the installation was previously
carried out via a backup!
