Error 224, invalid firmware version
Problem/Question
When Starting the RIP Software or at the installation an error message shows up:
"The addressed CmStick has an invalid Firmware Version, Error 224"
This
error message indicates that the firmware of the used dongle is outdated and no longer compatible with the newer version of the CodeMeter Control Center.
Solution/Work-Around
The error can be easily fixed by updating the firmware of the dongle (see the link under "Useful Articles")
