Error 0x1808810A Java is not enabled

Problem/Question
When trying to activate the license ticket online you receive an error message:
"Error 0x1808810A Java is not enabled. Please enable Java or use Offline license transfer."


This error message indicates that there is a communication problem between the license management server (CodeMeter License Central WebDepot) and the dongle.

Solution/Work-Around
  1. Update the dongle firmware
  2. Update the time certificate
  3. Use a different internet browser to activate the license
  4. Use Offline license transfer
