Epson HTM Driver error -12 when retrieving EMX data

Problem/Question
When retrieving EMX data from Epson Edge Dashboard in Epson HTM drivers you get the error message
“Failed to retrieve EMX data from Epson Edge Dashboard. -12"


This error message indicates that the Epson Printer is not registered at the Epson Edge Dashboard.

Solution/Work-Around
  1. Update the Epson Edge Dashboard software
  2. Start the Epson Edge Dashboard
  3. Install the Epson Communication Driver (follow the Dashboard manual link under the ?*)
  4. Register the Epson Printer
