Different density measurement results between V15 and V16
Problem/Question
When comparing density measurements between Ergosoft RIP 15 and Ergosoft 16, differences may occur. This is due to the newly added density specifications for the primary inks.
Solution/Work-Around
To change back to the default setting of Ergosoft RIP 15 please follow the step below:
- Open the "Application Defaults" under "Tools" in the menue bar
- Select "Spectrophotometer" in "Application" tab
- Set in the "Measurement Standards" field the "Density specification for primary inks:" from "Status E - ISO 5-3 (Default)" to "DIN 16536-2 (Legacy)"
