COM Error Class not registered
Problem/Question
While running the RIP an error message window appears
“COM Error Class not registered”
Sometimes the message can have additions, such as “in jobdoc.cpp”
Solution/Work-Around
- Close the program and all related applications
- Run register COM Interface at Maintenace Tool "Troubleshooting"
This will rewrite the Registry entries for the program and often fixes this type of issue.
