Cannot select Snapshots image folder

Problem/Question
In rare cases it can happen that in the "Application Defaults > Snapshots" no folder can be selected.

This error has a common source when installing the program, which leads to incorrect registry entries for the program.

Solution/Work-Around
  1. Open Ergosoft ControlCenter
  2. Select the tab "Tools"
  3. Open <Maintenance Tool>
  4. Select the tab "Troubleshooting"
  5. Execute "Shut down all RIP components"
  6. Execute "Register COM interfaces"
There is no error message associated to this specific issue. This procedure will rewrite the Registry entries for the program and often fixes this type of issue.
