Can different Job Processing Policies (JPP) be applied between Networked Department stations?
Problem/Question
Job Processing Policies govern different settings related to job processing, archiving, temporary data and automatic preflights. The JPP settings are stored as presets and can be assigned automatically by the Application Defaults or individually via the Job Properties pane.
Can different JPP settings be applied on the ND stations (master & clients)?
Solution/Work-Around
Yes. JPP presets are stored locally. Thus, the locally available Job Processing Policy is applied automatically.
In order to synchronize the JPP settings within the Networked Department it is recommended to export the JPP preset (Tools > Preset Manager > Job Presets > Job Processing Policy) and import it to all ND stations.
