Barbieri Spectrophotometer, Epson printer not available in the driver list

Problem/Question

When setting up a Barbieri Spectrophotometer or an Epson printer, the model is missing in the device list.


The HTM drivers for Epson printers as well as the Barbieri Gateway software are large installation files. In order to keep the size of the Ergosoft installation file low, these program parts have been outsourced to so-called Ergosoft extensions (.esup).

Solution/Work-Around

Hint: If you use a virus scanner, deactivate it (can be reactivated afterwards) before carrying out the following steps.
  1. Open the Ergosoft ControlCenter
  2. Select the "Tools" tab
  3. Click on the <User Portal> button
  4. Register or log in to the User Portal
  5. Click on the "Download" tab
  6. Download the corresponding installer from the "Extension - 3rd Party" section
  7. Close the Ergosoft 17 RIP completely
  8. After unzipping, run the installer
  9. Start Ergosoft again

The required driver is now available.
