[AE=1505] HP Raster Library Error –2
„HP Raster Library Error –2 Invalid parameter“
This error message most commonly appears on certain HP models when the settings in the Device Options of the Print Environment in the RIP do not match the settings on the printer’s panel.
Sometimes special signs (such as ö ä ü + % ...) in file names can lead to this error.
Solution/Work-Around
- Check the connection to the printer
- Check if settings in the Device Options of the Print Environment match to the settings on the printer panel
- Check if the latest release of Ergosoft is installed
- Check if the latest firmware of the printer is installed to the printer
- Run updates if necessary
- Open the Device Options in the Print Environment at least once, to make sure the Raster Libraries refresh themselves
- Rename the image you want to print without the use of special characters
